Garrido set to leave Man City for Lazio

Manchester City have opened talks with Lazio over the transfer of Javier Garrido to the Italian capital, reports the Daily Mail.

The 25 year old left-back has slipped further down the pecking order at Eastlands following the arrival of Aleksandar Kolarov from the Serie A side and should move for around £2.5million.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito said: “We are a step closer to the definitive agreement for Garrido.”

City boss Roberto Mancini is looking to trim his star-studded squad to operate within the Premier League’s 25-man rule.
